In my recent post about Google Voice, I showed my feeling that the integration between Google Voice and other Google products such as Gmail was not tight enough. Obvious, it is just a matter of time. Just a few days after that post, Google Voice has further improvement of integration with Gmail.

Nimbuzz is my backup choice of Mobile IM program after Fring. In fact, I started to use Nimbuzz even before Fring, since the initial version of Nimbuzz was based on Java ME and when I was still using my Motorola E680i, Fring didn’t has J2ME version yet. Though Nimbuzz has a shorter history than Fring especially on smartphones, it developed very quickly and make itself a serious competitor of Fring. Skype is the most popular VoIP provider and Skype just released version 2 under Linux that introduced free video calls. However, the way to use Skype dial normal phone numbers under Windows doesn’t work well under Linux.

There are many dictionaries on Java or other mobile platform, for example, MDict on PPC and BBdict on BlackBerry. All of them are excellent applications, But their libraries are limit by file size. However, if you have a WAP-enabled mobile phone, you can look up a word via free online dictionaries with WAP version.

The regular way to register VoIP products from Betamax is via their client softwares, which frequently fails due to error. Except register via client softwares, Betamax also offer web registration for Linux and Mac as they don’t have clients softwares under Linux and Mac.
