WordPress 3.3 Sonny Rolled Out Best Update Ever

The Dashboard has been completely re-designed once again in the update 3.3. WordPress 3.3 is claimed to be the LATEST and the GREATEST version till now. already had a major update to the dashboard but this time it is much more updated along with the header.
Header is the tool bar which you see when you log in to your dashboard. Previous it was called Header but now it is Tool Bar which is the combination of Admin Bar as well as Header.Hovering over the toolbar items will reveal submenus when available for quick access.
Menus are no more drop down which were previously. Now they are fly over or to be more simple they are on hover i.e., you hover over them and the options appear.
No more double clicks or drop downs and a single click will move you to your desired options.
The Help tabs located in the upper corner of the dashboard screens below your name have gotten a facelift. Help content is broken into smaller sections for easier access, with links to relevant documentation and the support forums always visible.
Most of the improvements released in this version are also for a better improvement in the layout/design appearance in the handheld devices like iPad/tablet.
- File Uploading
The major update to be discussed is the file uploading feature. Completely revamped with File Detection. No more choosing an Image or a Video when you are going to insert the same into your posts. A single button for every thing. Choose any time of file to be uploaded and it is automatically detected.
Along with the auto detection two major updates to the file uploading are Drag and Drop and also rar and 7z are the new file type detections added.
Now you don’t have to go into each folder of your computer again and again to uploading the files. Simply drag and drop them and whoa! they are uploaded.
Do you offer freebies or downloads to your users like source code/ projects etc ? Now you can simply RAR/7z them into a single file and upload them to WordPress as they are the new file types detections updated. Provide direct downloads from your blog instead of linking to another website.
- UPDATE LOG
Updated WordPress recently ? Don’t know the features that have been updated ? Well from now on after an update is done to your WordPress version you will be redirected to the Update Log where the updates, fixes are listed for your convenience.
