Has the Youtube major re-design reached people ?
YouTube has recently unveiled it’s major re-design to stand along with it’s own Social Networking website Google+. Google has been working on changes to all it’s family sites to suit and cope with Google+. But has the new TV like YouTube look reached people ?
Not only me but most of the users from the world don’t seem to like the new design. I don’t visit the homepage of YouTube often but visit videos directly from other websites. Sadly, the new design doesn’t deliver, and neither does the new content
The main reason for the redesign was to make it easier to share videos on Google+. The new design of YouTube is a simple and gives you a feeling like watching TV along with the latest innovations in Social Networking. But this appears to have completely back fired after thousands of users have hit against the new changes.

The tour video showing the new design layout has already received 13,414 dislikes.

The new design might not have reached to the people completely. But still once people get used to it, they will like it automatically once they get used to it. Not everything will impress people in the first look.
The large Facebook and Google+ make it easier to share the videos directly to your Social Networking accounts. Recommended Videos on the right make it easier for you to browse through other videos which are grabbed based on the previous videos you have watched. Subscribing to channels is much more easier now, where you can directly do it without going to each and every channel’s page.

So the verdict for now is the new design is a FAIL.
