Morange adds SMS and podcast features

A Chinese version of Morange (a free Java application for mobile phones supporting push mail, RSS, instant messaging and so on) provides the option of web navigation but not have VOIP. The English version of Morange has VOIP but not include the option of web navigation. Therefore I tried to install two different language versions in one N73 a few days ago, it didn’t work. But I find the new version of Morange which has the new function, sending text message. The rate is always $0.066 for each international SMS. First you need to verify your mobile phone number on Morange.

Furthermore, Morange starts to support podcast. Besides inserting the Feed of the podcast in RSS channel, your mobile phone needs to support playing MP3 (this application needs to use your mobile’s player). I didn’t test successful in N73. I don’t know why. Of course using podcast in your mobile phone means you’ve downloaded these audios. It will be expensive if you don’t have free 3G data service or connect via WiFi.

Besides supporting these popular IMs such as Google Talk, MSN, Yahoo and QQ, it provides its own social networking. Nowadays many companies develop the instant messaging software for the mobile phone, they also try to create their own social networking for the new market.
