Hack to solve Betamax VoIP register error
Though VoIP products of Betamax have many problems and their reputation is not so good, surely they also have many advantages, otherwise there would not be so many users willing to pay for Betamax VoIP products.
One major market strategy of Betamax is that they start new VoIP companies every few months. Nonoh.net, justvoip.com, voipbuster.com and voipcheap.com are most well known VoIP products from Betamax. However, the regular way to register VoIP products from Betamax is via their client softwares, which frequently fails due to error. VoIPGuides suggested to turn off firewall and anti-virus software, but I guess it is more likely due to the same computer/IP has already been used to register another Betamax VoIP product. Delete relevant key in registry is another possible but risky solution.
In fact, now there is an alternative way to solve registration errors of Betamax VoIP products. Except register via client softwares, Betamax also offer web registration for Linux and Mac as they don’t have clients softwares under Linux and Mac.
